Saudi officials have recently made the decision to cancel
the upcoming 2025 Saudi Super Cup
tournament scheduled to take place in China from August 13 to 17, according to informed sources.
The decision came as a result of a disagreement over contract terms
between the involved parties, leading to the termination of
the verbal agreement. It is now being considered to host
the tournament in Taif or Abha as alternative options, citing more suitable weather
conditions in the summer and a boost in domestic tourism.
